The company is receiving large interest from overseas, partly a consequence of its projects in Europe, the Far East and Australasia. 1998 saw the opening of the Asia Pacific office and the creation of its subsidiary, Computer Monitoring and Control (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, enabling it to offer more responsive support for its customers in the region.

Computer Monitoring and Control (M) Sdn Bhd, was one of the first companies to achieve what is known as Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status and has now opened a new office in Malaysia’s prestigious "cybercity", Cyberjaya, this ranks C-MAC(M) alongside such well respected names as British Telecom and British Aerospace.

C-MAC has taken the decision to incorporate research and development activities into its Malaysian offices. This will run hand in hand with the company’s R & D function at its Manchester Head Office. C-MAC has an on-going long term commitment towards R & D involving both current and future products. The R & D program consists of a number of separate projects focussed on introducing innovative modern technology into the field of process automation.

In 2001 C-MAC opened another overseas office, in Breda, The Netherlands and the creation of another subsidiary, Computer Monitoring and Control (Benelux) BV. This office demonstrates C-MAC's commitment to its European operations and enhances support and training facilities in the region.

One of the most undervalued aspects of a manufacturing installation is its long term support.
